Unseen Commuters

One of the outcomes of a community research partnership in London Ontario during my work at Pillar Nonprofit Network as SDG Cities London lead. Unseen Commuters is a collection of fictional stories fully grounded on real world occurrences involving local mobility equity issues. 

The book also includes an alternative view of the future, local numbers and stats related to mobility equity, lessons learned, and suggestions on how to move forward based on the information gathered during the project from experts and people with lived experience.

Vision Zero Hamilton Rd

Research Partnership

The project is a community informed initiative to influence local public policies and infrastructure projects to improve urban mobility focusing primarily on groups facing transportation poverty.

A collaboration with several local organizations and the City of London, informed by the work on Transportation Poverty by Mobilizing Justice.


Bike Workshop for Refugees

After the catastrophic 2010 Haiti earthquake, families who lost everything emigrated to try and rebuild their lives. To navigate life in a new country, cycling was essentially the only one they had to get around. Learning how to ride safely was an essential skill and part of a much bigger equity issue.
